MADRID, June 29 (Reuters) Real Madrid presidential candidate Ramon Calderon says he has an agreement with the agent of Spain midfielder Cesc Fabregas that the player will come to the club if Calderon wins Sunday's election.

''A deal has been closed'' with the player's agent, Calderon told a news conference today.

Calderon's sports director Predrag Mijatovic added: ''We can't reach an agreement with Arsenal because we do not represent Real Madrid yet, but if we win I am sure he will come.

''We have an agreement signed with Arjen Robben and we are working hard to secure Kaka, who wants to come to Madrid although we haven't closed the deal with AC Milan yet.'' Teenager Fabregas plays for Arsenal. Chelsea dismissed Calderon's Robben link yesterday.

Calderon, who was a Real director under former presidents Florentino Perez and Fernando Martin, is one of five candidates standing in the election, which was called after the board ousted Martin in April.

The election campaign has been characterised by claims from candidates to have secured various coaches and players, aimed at swinging voters their way.

Perez famously won the 2000 election with the promise to buy Barcelona's Luis Figo. Perez quit in February.
