RBI injects Rs 22,180 crore via bids for reverse repo
Mumbai, June 29 (UNI) The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has injected Rs 22,180 crore through 23 bids made for reverse repo on June 29.
Announcing this, RBI said that on previous day, i.e. on June 28, it placed Rs 15,015 crore into the system. Bids received were 21 at the fixed reverse repo which is 5.75 per cent currently.
This auction was held under liquidity adjustment facility, where central bank sold securities. No bids were received for repo at fixed repo rate 6.75 per cent.
