Police station in Kashmir attacked
Srinagar, June 29 (UNI) A police station was attacked by militants in north Kashmir's Sopore town today, official sources said.
They said the militants lobbed a hand grenade towards the Sopore Police Station at Arampora at 1210 hrs this afternoon.
However, the grenade did not explode and a bomb disposal squad was pressed into service to defuse it, the sources added.
They said the grenade was later defused without causing any damage.
