Parliament monsoon session from July 24-Aug 30

New Delhi, June 29: The monsoon session of the Parliament will be held from July 24 to August 30.

A recommendation to this effect has been made by the Cabinet Committee on Parliamentary Affairs (CCPA) to President A P J Abdul Kalam, Information and Broadcasting Minister Priya Ranjan Dasmunsi told reporters today.

The office of profit Bill, passed by the Budget session but returned by the President without his assent, would be reconsidered by Parliament.

Sources said the government was planning to reintroduce the Bill in its original form. After passing it, it would be sent to the President for the second time who would have no option but to give his approval.
