Kingston, Jamaica, June 29 (UNI) A deadly bouncer from Munaf Patel hit fellow seamer S Seesanth on the head at nets today, knocking him down but Team India physio John Gloster has ruled out any major damage.

Sreesanth was facing Munaf Patel at the Melbourne Park Ground here at Kingston where the Indian team was having its net practice.

He cut Patel for two beautiful shots when Munaf hurled a deadly bouncer at him that hit the Kerala pacer on his head.

Sreesanth was attended by Gloster who said there were no major concerns and no scan was required.

''He was knocked down but should be fine and would be considered for the last Test,'' said Team India coach Greg Chappell.

Sreesanth had earlier missed the second Test due to a sore heel.
