Monsoon may hit Rajasthan any moment
Jaipur, June 29 (UNI) Monsoon is likely to hit Rajasthan any moment in the next 24 hours, say weather officials.
Monsoon is currently active on the borders of the state in Guna, Jhansi, Barelli and Rajasthan can expect the first monsoon showers any moment. Some parts of Bikaner and Ganganagar districts received scattered rainfall today.
Weather office recorded 10 mm rain in Bikaner and 13 mm Ganganagar. Other areas received traces of rain.
Kota and Udaipur districts received pre-monsoon showers yesterday and rains which persisted for than half-an-hour, waterlogging the roads. There are reports of three women dying due to lightning in Kota, Bundi and Bhilwara districts.
The sun was bright in the state capital throughout the day although some clouds gathered in the sky in the afternoon. Yet Jaipur is waiting anxiously for the showers.
The maximum temperature recorded was 35 degree Celsius while the minimum was 25 degree Celsius.
