Mecpro gets TERI award for environmental excellence

New Delhi, June 29 (UNI) Mecpro Heavy Engineering Ltd has received the TERI Corporate award for Environmental excellence here.

The award has been conferred by The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI), to provide impetus to sustainable developments and to encourage ongoing process of environmental management and protection within the corporate sector.

''It was teamwork which has shown results and the credit goes to the entire team,'' Mecpro Managing Director Rajan Skharia said.

The company also received the National Award for innovative technologies instituted by the Technology Development board, Ministry of Science and Technology by President A P J Abdul Kalam last year.
