Man shot dead in AP

Visakhapatnam, Jun 29 (UNI) A 40-year-old man was shot dead by two unidentified persons under Kancherapalem police here today.

Talking to newspersons Superintendent of Police P C Kaumudi said the slain S Satyanarayana Murthy was proceeding to his house from a temple here, when two youths fired three rounds, injuring him seriously.

Mr Murthy succumbed to bullet injuries en route to hospital.

Investigation was underway, Mr Kaumudi added.
