Man posing as CM office employee arrested, escapes police custody
New Delhi, June 29 (UNI) A man, arrested in an alleged cheating and fraud case, escaped from I P Estate police station in Central Delhi.
Amarpal was arrested yesterday on the complaint of a Moti Nagar businessman who was allegeding duped of a huge sum on the assurance of regularising his shop which was sealed, according to sources.
The accused, posing as a close confidante of Delhi Labour Minister and who said he worked in the Chief Minister's office, fled from police custody yesterday soon after he was arrested.
He had reportedly duped others also.
