Kashmir Haj House in 18 months

Srinagar, Jun 29 (UNI) The Jammu and Kashmir government today directed for completion of a Haj House within 18 months, an official spokesman said.

He said on the instructions of Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad, his Principal Secretary Anil Goswami accompanied by Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir Basharat Ahmed and other senior officials visited the Haj Complex site at Bemina here.

Mr Goswami directed the Jammu and Kashmir Project Construction Corporation Managing Director to accelerate the pace of work on the Haj Complex.

He asked the officials concerned to strictly implement the directions of the Chief Minister to ensure completion of the Haj House construction within the targeted period of 18 months on the basis of double shift system.

Mr Goswami warned them that any laxity in this regard would be viewed seriously.
