Info on automobiles website launched

Chennai, June 29 (UNI) The Bharatmatrimony.com group, one of the leading internet companies today launched Indiaautomobile.com, the first ISO 9001:2000 certified automobile portal with an investment of Rs 2.5 crore.

Soon after the launch, founder and CEO Murugavel Janakiraman told newspersons here that the portal would provide in-depth research information on car models to help the customers in buying and selling decisions.

The site, besides featuring distinct sections on 'new cars' and 'used cars' also provides interesting features, including loans and insurance section, EMI and affordability calculation foots and a personalised 'auto zone' for users. An exhaustive section on bikes will be added soon, he informed.

He said the key features of this site was online showroom of new as well as used cars, comprehensive research information and comparison tools to enable the customers to make the right choice among all available car models, dynamic colour sector, interactive detailing of features, pricing charts and affordability calculators.

The site also features used car listings with in-depth information supported with multiple platforms for buyers and sellers to connect, value-added services, including loans, insurance and more, personalised interface allowing users to create their own 'auto zone' and unique industry blog portal, wheel speak.com where autombile enthusiasts can share news, views, opinions and experiences, he added.

With this launch ''we strongly believe that our expertise in the medium, intensive research and product development efforts will ensure the success and popularity of the portal,''Mr Janakiraman said.

Replying to a question, he said so far an investment of USD 15 million USD from internal resources for their decade-old Bharatmatrimony.com was made. The current head count of 300 employees would be doubled by March next, he added.
