HP unveils blade solution for high-performance computing

Mumbai, June 29 (UNI) HP today introduced the fastest blade system solution for high-performance computing.

The new blade systems will be first of its kind in the world in the domain of High-performance Computing (HPC), a company's release issued here said.

IDC predicts that enterprises worldwide will spend more than USD 7.2 billion on blade technology in 2008. Blade servers have increased the momentum in India capturing five per cent of the more than one lakh servers units sold so far this year, the release added.
