Henin-Hardenne through to third round

LONDON, June 28 (Reuters) Justine Henin-Hardenne eased into the third round of Wimbledon today with a classy 6-2 6-1 victory over Russian Ekaterina Bychkova.

The Belgian third seed, who has dropped just four games in two rounds, secured a meeting with another Russian, 30th seed Anna Chakvetadze.

Henin-Hardenne, who retained her French Open title earlier this month, is seeking her first Wimbledon crown after suffering one final and two semi-final defeats.

She joins compatriot Kim Clijsters in the third round after she was handed a walkover by sick Ukrainian Viktoriya Kutuzova.
