HCL Tech to set up design center for US firm

New Delhi, June 29 (UNI) HCL Technologies Ltd today said it will set up a dedicated design center for the US-based Augmentix Corporation, for product engineering services in Bangalore.

''We will continue to build on relationship with Augmentix by providing high-end solutions in a cost-effective and timely manner to support their needs,'' HCL Vice President Sandeep Kishore said.

The new center will allow HCL to build on the range of services provided to Augmentix by working on evolutionary next-generation server platforms and new initiatives.

The company will dedicate an area within their facilities based in Bangalore to service Augmentix Corporation, one of the global suppliers of mission critical solutions for rugged environments.

HCL Technologies Ltd is engaged in delivering value engineering for a range of services including concept design, detailed engineering and analysis, prototyping, testing and certification.
