HCL sets up design center for Augmentix Corp

Mumbai, June 29 (UNI) HCL Technologies has announced today, that the company is setting up a dedicated design center for product engineering services in Bangalore for Augmentix Corporation, one of worldwide suppliers of mission critical solutions for rugged environments.

The company has been delivering value engineering for a range of services including concept design, detailed engineering and analysis, prototyping, testing and certification within a time span of five months. This new dedicated center will allow the company to build on the range of services provided to Augmentix by working on evolutionary next-generation server platforms and new initiatives.

In a company release issued here today, Sandeep Kishore, Vice President, of the company said, ''We have had a solid and fruitful relationship with Augmentix for the past two years and we will continue to build on that relationship by providing high-end solutions in a cost-effective and timely manner to support their needs.

The company will dedicate an area within their facilities based in Bangalore to service Augmentix Corporation, the release added.
