FIR against Sadhu Yadav

Gopalganj, June 29 (UNI) The district administration today filed an FIR against RJD MP Sadhu Yadav in connection with his alleged attempt to influence the polling for election to block pramukh of Phulwaria.

Sub-divisional police officer Shankar Jha said Mr.Yadav was allegedly trying to scare husband of a candidate to the post but the local people intervened and the RJD leader had to escape from the spot.

District Magistrate Murlidhar Rai ordered to postpone the polling after the incident and directed the officer concerned to file FIR against the RJD leader.

Meanwhile, the district administration has ordered for arrest of the RJD leader.

Kunti Devi, a close relative of Mr. Sadhu Yadav, was in the fray for the post.

The FIR was lodged in Phulwaria police station.
