Eveready to launch mosquito coil

Chennai, Jun 29 (UNI) Eveready Industries India Limited, which had diversified into Tea packet sale, is all set to roll out "Eveready Power on", a new mosquioto coil, mainly to cater to the rural markets.

Addressing a press conference here, Company's Executive Vice President (Sales and Marketing) Ravi Grover said the company had just started sale of the coils in North East and West Bengal and would launch nationwide sale in September, utilising its strong distribution network.

Outsourcing from other coil making companies, Eveready would add values before introducing them in the market as "Eveready power on Mosquito coils." As the company had a very strong distribution network with 1,000 vans operating every day to the rural parts of the country, it would be economical to sell low priced products like mosquito coil at Re One per coil, he added.
