CCS Infotech bags orders worth Rs 1.6 cr

New Delhi, June 29: CCS Infotech Ltd today said it has bagged orders worth Rs 1.6 crore from various educational institutions, leading colleges and schools in Tamil Nadu.

Company Managing Director Hasan Abdul Kader said the increase in orders from the domestic market will help them in achieving the targeted turn-over for this fiscal.

CCS Infotech is focusing on the educational sector and expects to bag more orders, Mr Kader said.

''We are getting lots of domestic orders from the beginning of this financial year and a significant portion of it is from the educational sector,'' CCS Infotech Director H Ratna Kumar said.

The company recently bagged orders worth Rs 0.15 crore from Veltech group and an order from Vellammal Educational Trust.

Apart from the education segment, the company received an order for Rs 0.15 crore from BSNL Salem.

The company's turnover stood at Rs 59.27 crore in 2005-06, up by 73 per cent during the last fiscal.
