AP exporting naxals to Chattisgarh: Jairam Ramesh
Hyderabad, Jun 29 (UNI) Expressing concern over Andhra Pradesh turning into a ''Special Economic Zone'', where naxals were produced and exported to other states, Union Minister of State for Commerce Jairam Ramesh today said the problem in Andhra Pradesh would be solved only when land alienation disputes were resolved and tribals got back their land.
Participating in a workshop organised by Giri Pragati of the State Rural Development department here, Mr Ramesh said the state should not be under the illusion that they have solved the naxal problem because naxal activity in the state is on the decline. The state has become like a Special Economic Zone where naxals are produced and exported to states like Chattisgarh. The Governor and Chief Minister of Chattisgarh have said openly that Chattisgarh naxals speak Telugu.' UNI ASJ AA VD RK1655
