25 Army boxes stolen from CPE
Hoshangabad ,MP, June 29 (UNI) Twenty-five army boxes and some other materials have been stolen from the Taku firing range of Itarsi-based Central Proof Establishment (CPE), police said today.
CPE subedar Ramraj lodged a complaint with a police station in this regard yesterday. However, no information has been provided about the contents of the boxes.
Station House Officer L S Sonia was investigating the matter.
He said before sending explosives to the Army, test is conducted at the CPE's firing range and the explosive box is left there.
It was suspected that locals took the box to sell as scrap.
