10-crore new health care plan in Mizoram

Aizawl, Jun 29 (UNI) Mizoram Chief Minister Zoramthanga today said the state government has planned to launch a new health care programme at a cost of Rs 10 crore.

Speaking to Mizoram Journalists Association, he said here the new health care scheme would be available to government employees and people of the state as well.

''Anyone can avail it and the amount would depend on how many people are willing to get registered to the scheme,'' he said.

The state government would allocate Rs 10 crores to implement this programme.

''We hope to implement this scheme latest by the new fiscal,'' Zoramthanga said.

The Chief Minister said this programme would be beneficial for the common people.
