Water level in Kerala reservoirs increases

Kochi, June 28 (UNI) Water level in the major reservoirs of Kerala has increased during the week ending June 26, according to the Central Water Commission.

The level had gone up from 438.88 ft to 445.18 ft at Idamalayar, from 328.48 ft to 333.73 ft at Kallada and from 2311.89 ft to 2315.64 ft at Idukki.

When compared to water level recorded during the same period last year, the Idukki reservoir showed an increase of 11.77 ft, Kallada 12.86 ft and Idamalayar 19.66 ft, an official release said today.
