Vadilal plans ice-cream plant in Kolkata

Kolkata, Jun 28 (UNI) Vadilal Industries Ltd, a flagship company of the Vadilal Group, today said it is planning to invest Rs 9.74 crore for setting up an ice-cream manufacturing plant in Kolkata.

The company has proposed to set up a new ice-cream manufacturing plant in Kolkata instead of Uttaranchal, as was decided earlier, with an installed capacity of 32,000 litres per day, Vadilal infomed the Stock Exchanges.

It is also planning to purchase new automatic candy machine as well as other machines for its ice-cream plant at Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh for Rs 7.56 crore.
