Vadilal expands capacity with new ice-cream plant in Kolkata

Mumbai, June 28 (UNI) Vadilal Industries Ltd has proposed to set-up a new Ice-cream manufacturing plant at Kolkata in West Bengal with an installed capacity of 32,000 litres per day with a project cost of around Rs 9.74 crore.

Announcing this, the Company said the proposal to set-up a new Ice-cream plant in Kolkata, instead of at Uttaranchal state, as decided earlier, was part of its decision to expand further.

As part of the expansion plans, the Company will incur capital expenditure to the extent of Rs 7.56 crore for its Ice-cream plant situated at Bareilly in the State of Uttar Pradesh towards purchase of new automatic Candy Machine and other machines for its various sections in the plant.
