New Delhi, June 28 (UNI) To give US educators an exposure to different aspects of Indian society, its cultural heritage, religion and economic development, a 16-member group would be visiting here for a month-long exposure beginning June 30.

The participants drawn from educational institutions across the US would learn about Indian life, society and its education systems during their June 30-August 4 stay, according to the US embassy here.

The programme, organised under the 'Fulbright-Hays Seminars Abroad Programme' and executed by the US Educational Foundation in India (USEFI), intends to explore India's unique cultural, social, religious and historical issues that defined its diversity.

For this the teachers will attend a five-day orientation lecture in Delhi besides travelling to Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Bangalore, Thiruvananthapuram, Mysore, Kolkata, Varanasi and Agra, which would help promote mutual understanding between US citizens and Indians through educational exchanges.
