TTD to setup nursing college

Tirupati, Jun 28 : The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has sanctioned Rs 11.5 crore to set up a nursing college here at Sri Venkateswara Government Hospital.

Talking to newspersons Superintendent of the hospital Dr Abdul Salam said the Centre had given permission for a Bsc-nursing college.

The new college would be attached to the existing school of nursing and all the facilities would be upgraded.

The college would also increase its seats from the next academic year, he added.
