Shiv Sena local leader arrested for possessing smack

Gurdaspur, Jun 28 (UNI) A woman Shiv Sena leader was today arrested for possessing smack.

The head of the woman Shiv Sena wing in Kadian, Manjit Kaur, was arrested when police, on a tip-off, nabbed her with 10 gm of the contraband narcotic, SHO Sanjiv Kumar said.

In another incident, Gurprit Singh of Leelkalan was arrested for possessing 25 gm of smack.

A case under the NDPS Act has been registered against both of them.
