Seven arrested for possessing ganja, detonators, revolvers

Solapur, June 28 (UNI) Police arrested sevenpersons for possessing one and half kg of Ganja, gelatine sticks, detonators and a few country made revolvers.

Police told UNI that the persons concerned were running an illegal business in near Shahi earth mover at Akluj Taluka of the district.

Police Inspector S B Pawar said, following a tip off, they raided the place late last night and arrested all the seven accused including the main culprit Maula Pathan.

Police haVE registered a case under the Narcotic Drug Psychotropic substances (NDPS) act against all the seven accused. They will be produced in Malsirus court today for a remand hearing, Mr Pawar said.
