Dortmund, June 28 (UNI) Brazil will take their World Cup quarterfinal match against France in Frankfurt on Saturday as seriously as a final, ace predator Ronaldo said.

Painful memories from the 1998 final debale will comeback to haunt the World Champions in general and Ronaldo in particular when Brazil surrendered 0-3 to the France after Ronaldo suffered a mysterious illness.

However the striker, who eclipsed Gerd Muller's record of maximum goals in the WC finals yesterday, maintains that revenge will be no where on their minds when they take on Les Blues in a match, which promises to evoke a sense of deja vu.

''We have to treat this match as a final and forget about the game we lost against France. We have to come out firing,'' Real Madrid's attacker said in an interview with Brazilian TV channel.

Winger Roberto Carlos echoed his Brazil and Real Madrid team mate as he said the fixture promised to be a great one.

''I don't even remember 1998. We have already played a friendly against France and we are the reigning World Cup champions. It will be a great match,'' Carlos, who was a member of the team in 1998, said and added, ''Truthfully, the team is in great form,'' he added.
