Polly Umrigar hospitalised again
Mumbai, June 28 (UNI) Former Indian cricket captain Polly Umrigar was readmitted to the Bombay Hospital following complaints of high fever and inability to walk.
Umrigar had been admitted to the same hospital earlier this month and has been diagnosed with cancer. The 80-year-old had undergone chemotherapy and was supposed to be stable.
However, the Indian cricket legend once again complained of high fever and being unable to walk and was readmitted to the hosptial yesterday.
Hospital sources told UNI that they were conducting a series of tests on Umgrigar and would be able to give proper diagnosis after the tests' results come out.
