Police busts gang of burglars

New Delhi, June 28 (UNI) Police have busted a gang of burglars with the arrest of six people, including a woman, from South West Delhi.

Ajay (19), Suman alias Seema (36), Vikram Singh (25), Tek Chand (42), Tahir Prasad (19) and Raj Singh Negi (25) were arrested.

Ajay was arrested yesterday from Palam Dabri road and during interrogation revealed information about other members of the gang.

Police said they were involved in the many cases of burglary in Dabri and Dwarka areas.

Police recovered two motor cycles, large quantity of gold and silver jewellery, 60 silver coins, four televisions, VCDs, 25 wrist watches, one telephone instrument, six cameras and some cash.

During interrogation the accused disclosed that they used to target locked houses, particularly with paddle locks.
