One killed in car-jeep collision in HP

Shimla, June 28 (UNI) A car driver was killed and three members of a family were seriously injured after their vehicle collided with a jeep in this district of Himachal Pradesh, police sources today said.

The accident occurred at Sainj near Rampur Bushehar in the district on the Hindustan-Tibet road late last night.

While the driver of the car was killed on the spot, three members of a family, travelling in the car, were seriously injured after the collision, the sources said.

The injured have been admitted to a government hospital at Khaneri where the doctors described their condition as serious.

Police said the cause of the accident was not immediately known, adding that a case has been registered and investigations were on.
