North, East India to get a taste of McDonalds soon

New Delhi, June 28 (UNI) McDonalds today said it will open 25 new restaurants in India, taking its total number of outlets in the country to 110 by this year.

''We plan to add 25 new restaurants by the year-end, of which 65 per cent will be in Eastern and Northern India,'' McDonalds India (North and East India) MD Vikram Bakshi told reporters here.

The company is planning to focus most of its expansion on East India, and is also looking at increasing its turnover.

However, he refused to divulge any numbers.

McDonald's India had recently announced a Rs 400 crore investment for the next two years.
