Mukhi opposes UD Ministry's decision to auction MIG, LIG flats

New Delhi, June 28 (UNI) Leader of Opposition in the Delhi Assembly Jagdish Mukhi today criticised the Union Urban Development Ministry's decision to auction MIG and LIG flats constructed by the Delhi Development Authority (DDA).

Dr Mukhi said the ministry's decision, without consulting the elected representatives of the authority, is ''anti-poor''.

''This decision has exposed the Congress government's double standards....on one hand, Congress MLAs Councillors and DDA members walked out of the meeting opposing the auction decision and on the other the Congress-headed UPA took the decision,'' he added.

Delhi BJP MLA Mange Ram Garg has also opposed the move.
