Mphasis BFL Ltd reconstitutes its Board

New Delhi, June 28: Mphasis BFL Ltd, IT and BPO solutions provider today elected Steve Heidt as the Non-executive Chairman of the company's Board.

It also announced the completion of the open offer for acquisition of shares by TH Holdings along with Electronic Data Systems Corporation (EDS) and the consequent transfer of 83,000,000 shares to TH Holdings.

The Board appointed the representatives of EDS including Thomas Haubenstricker, Douglas Davis, Paul Currie, Joseph Eazor and Ron Vargo as Additional Directors on the Board of the company.

Mr Jeroen Tas has stepped down as a Board member but will continue to serve the Board as a special advisor.

Other board members who have stepped down are Mr Richard Braddock, Mr B R Menon, and Mr N Subramanium.

Board also approved, in-principle,the merger of EDS India Pvt Ltd with the company.

Bangalore-based Mphasis serves in multiple industries including financial services, transportation, technology and healthcare and in the retail banking sector.
