MCTA resents govt apathy attitude

Shillong, Jun 28 (UNI) The Meghalaya College Teachers' Association has expressed it deep resentment against the state government over the slow progress to merge the 50 per cent Dearness Allowance with their basic salary.

In a press communique issued here last night, MCTA general secretary H Syiem criticised the state government's 'apathetic' attitude in implementing the merger of 50 per cent DA with the basic salary as per UGC notification of April 1,2004.
