Manipal Health Systems raises Rs 90 crore IDFC Private Equity

Mumbai, June 28 (UNI) Manipal Health Systems Private Limited today announced that it has raised Rs 90 crore of equity from IDFC Private Equity Fund II, a fund managed by IDFC Private Equity.

Announcing this, a joint press release said Manipal Health currently manages three tertiary care hospitals, eight secondary care hospitals and nine primary care centres in south India, including the leading hospital in Bangalore.

The company intends to leverage its experience and expertise to develop a strong presence across the country through both organic and inorganic growth route, the release added.
