Jaswant denies having received eviction notice

New Delhi, June 28: Leader of the Opposition in the Rajya Sabha Jaswant Singh today denied that the Directorate of Estate had issued any notice for vacating any portion of the accommodation occupied by him.

He was commenting on a newspaper report that the Estate Office had issued fresh notices to some MPs, including Mr Singh, who possessed accommodation, over their entitlement.

''I have not got any notice. Let them serve it to me. I will respond to it then only,'' he told UNI.

Mr Singh said as far as he understood he was occupying the accommodation to which he was entitled, ''even occupying less space than his entitlement.''
