New Delhi, Jun 28 (UNI) Jagson Airlines today leased two 26-seater helicopters MI-172 to Arunachal Pradesh state government.

Built by Kazan Helicopters, MI-172s are the world's largest commercial passenger helicopters, said airline's chairman and managing director Jagdish Gupta.

The twin-engine machines are equipped with sophisticated systems from BAE Systems and conform to international safety standards. The helicopters can fly upto 6,000 metres at a speed of 250 km per hour.

Jagson already has three six-seater helicopters which fly in Himachal Pradesh, Uttaranchal and Chandigarh. It also has three 18-seater Dornier planes in its fleet.
