HP launches segment-specific print cartridges

New Delhi, Jun 28 (UNI) Hewlett Packard (HP), global player in the imaging and printing market, today unveiled two print cartridges, besides a range of other initiatives, as part of its strategy to offer more segment-specific value propositions.

''We are very excited about this enhanced product portfolio for our customers, as well as improving our engagement with them through initiatives like Original Rewards, Dial-A-Cartridge and Original Cartridge Stores,'' HP India Sales Country Manager Raj Kumar Rishi said.

HP has introduced the Simple Black version of its most popular HP Black Inkjet Print Cartridge (HP 27b), retailed at Rs 499, for customers who have been using non-original cartridges/inks, and need only draft-quality everyday printing.

For the quality-conscious customers, an improved version of these Black Inkjet Print Cartridges are available at Rs 843, providing laser-quality output and water-and fade-resistance.

Besides continued superior print quality and reliability, the company has enhanced its portfolio of supplies products and solutions, aiming to address the changing and diverse printing needs of customers, ranging from home users and small/home offices to Small and Medium Businesses (SMBs), as well as corporate customers.

With the needs of medium-to high-usage customers in mind, HP has also launched a selection of twin/multi-cartridge packs and printer warranty offers.

To make supplies-ordering convenient for customers, HP will also provide the Dial-A-Cartridge service, which enables customers to order a cartridge through a toll-free number. For customers who still prefer to visit a store for their supplies, HP has set up 1,500 purchase points across the country, including more than 900 HP Original Cartridge stores.

HP, a technology solutions provider to consumers, businesses and institutions globally, offers IT, Infrastructure, global services, business and home computing, and imaging and printing.
