Flyover will be named after P V Narasima Rao: YSR

Hyderabad, June 28 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy today announced that the largest flyover in the country, under construction in the city, would be named after former Prime Minister late P V Narasimha Rao.

After paying floral tributes to Rao on the occasion of his 86th birth anniversary at the P V ghat here, Dr Reddy told reporters that the government had decided to name the flyover after Mr Rao in recognition of his valuable services to the nation.

The Chief Minister said Rao never compromised with the basics in his public life spanning over six decades.

The sons, daughters and relatives of PVN visited the ghat and paid tributes to him Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) general secretary D V Satyanarayana Rao garlanded his portrait at the Gandhi Bahavan, state party headquarters.
