Exfinity launches home theater with built-in-PC

Mumbai, June 28 (UNI) Exfinity, specialised high-end products maker, today launched 'Fusion'-- a home theater system designed to operate as a personal computer also.

Fusion is built with a selection of quality components in a single system that exceeds the performance of many seperate high-end audio-video devices costing thousands more and requiring much more time to properly configure and use.

One of the important components in Fusion is the user interface that ties everything together. It simplifies audio-video capabilities as well as personal computer so that users can benefit from it.

'' We feel that the time is ripe for the type of digital home entertainment products the company has to offer. Fusion allows being connected to digital home while leveraging the power of the personal computer,'' Exfinity founder Parvez Diwan said.

Exfinity anticipates retail distribution at hundreds of stores within a year.

There is a huge market for digital entertainment. The move away from specialized components like DVD players towards new technologies with entertainment PCs is where the whole industry is headed, Mr Diwan added.
