DCLR suspension proposal sent to government

Dhanbad, June 28 (UNI) The district administration here today initiated action against Deputy Collector for Land Revenue(DCLR) Ramshankar Rai, who was arrested last night for raping his maid.

Deputy Commissioner of Dhanbad Beela Rajesh told UNI a proposal regarding Rai's suspension was sent to the government.

The police arrested DCLR on a complaint made by the maid. A six- member medical board also confirmed the crime.

The samples of both accused and the victim were taken for DNA test.

Suprintendent of Police Baljeet Singh told that Rai raped the maid last evening.
