Coal industry extended as public utility for six months

New Delhi, June 28 (UNI) The Coal Industry has been declared a public utility service under the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947 for another six months with effect from today.

According to a notification issued by the Ministry of Labour and Employment, this has been done in public interest.

The Industry was earlier declared a public utility service for six months on December 28 last year.
