Bangladeshi robbers loot cash, jewellery worth lakhs
New Delhi, June 28 (UNI) Four Bangladeshi robbers took away cash and jewellery amounting to more than Rs two lakhs in Preet Vihar area of East Delhi this afternoon.
The robbers, who according to police hailed from Bangladesh, tied Shahnaz at her Shikhar Nagar residence in Preet Vihar at about 1230 hrs and decamped with Rs 70,000 and jewellery worth more than a lakh, according to sources.
They beat up the housewife, whose husband had left for work just half-an-hour back, when she resisted their attempt, sources said.
