Air Marshal Apte visits IAF maintenance facilities in Eastern sector

Kolkata, Jun 28 (UNI) Air Marshal Jayant Apte, Senior Maintenance staff officer of Maintenance Command, Indian Air Force, today visited the 14th Base Repair Depot and 33rd Movement Control Unit in the Eastern Sector and reviewed their performances.

Air Marshal Apte, who was received by Air Commodore V Babu VM, AOC and Group Captain KR Ajith Prasad, Commending Officer, 14 BDR, Air Force, went around both the repair units where he was given a brief presentation on their diversified roles and their achievements.

He also visited different electronic laboratories, repair facilities and logistics sections of the two units and urged airmen posted there to work with zeal and dedication for maintaining high standards of reliability of all equipment both during hostility and peace time.
