Administrative shake-up in MP

Bhopal, June 28 (UNI) Effecting a major administrative reshuffle, the Madhya Pradesh government today transferred 10 senior IAS officers, official sources said.

Divisional Commissioner (Jabalpur) Indranil Dani was posted as Principal Secretary (School Education) replacing Ms Anshu Vaish who was made Principal Secretary (Village Industry) in place of Ms I M Chahal who was shifted to Medical Education.

Secretary (Public Health Engineering) Rakesh Agarwal became the Narmada Valley Development Authority's Member (Rehabilitation) while Commissioner (Housing Board) and Executive Director (APCO) J S Mathur was posted as Secretary (Tribal and Scheduled Castes Welfare).

Upon returning from deputation, Mr P S Meena was made Secretary (PHE) while Secretary (Finance) Anil Srivastava was shifted as Divisional Commissioner (Jabalpur) and NVDA Member (Rehab) Vinod Semwal became Inspector-General (Registration).

Mr Shailendra Singh, who also returned from deputation, was posted as Commissioner (Land Records and Settlement) while Additional Secretary (Public Health and Family Welfare) and Comissioner (Health Services) Ashok Varnwal was made Director (Institutional Finance) and Additional Secretary (Finance).
