3 killed as lightning hits them

Gulbarga, June 28 (UNI) Three farm labourers, including a woman, were killed when lightning struck them at Kalhangaraga village about 30 km from here, this evening.

Police said the trio were returning from fields after work when the mishap occurred.

The deceased were identified as Shankarappa (60), Shivananda (35) Andhumbu Bhai (25).

Two oxen were also killed in the mishap.
