150 kg ganja seized in AP

Visakhapatnam, June 28 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh police seized 150 kg of ganja worth Rs five lakh and arrested two persons at G K Veedhi mandal last night, police said today.

Circle Inspector Praveen Kumar, talking to reporters today said Krishna Sahu and Ashok Kumar, hailing from Sambalpur district of Orissa, were held. The contraband was being smuggled to Chattisgarh.

The police also impounded the car in which the narcotics were stacked in 23 gunny bags, he added.
