Yadav rakes up clearance to Jet
Bhopal, June 27 (UNI) Raking up the issue of security clearance to the private-sector Jet Airways, Janata Dal(United) President Sharad Yadav today said the Centre should clarify on what basis the clearance was issued.
''Such a clearance was not given to the company during either the prime ministerial tenures of Mr Rajiv Gandhi, Mr P V Narasimha Rao and Mr H D Deve Gowda or the NDA governments,'' he pointed out to reporters here.
Mr Yadav claimed that the Enforcement Directorate, Research and Analysis Wing and Intelligence Bureau allegedly opined against such a clearance. He has written to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh in this regard.
